My friend bought a pet rat from the pet store not too long ago and the employee told him that the one he purchased was a girl and no chance of her being pregnant. Not to long after having the pet he comes to find out that it had given birth. He called the pet shop and asked how was it possible and they gave no solution. So be careful if your going to buy a pet rat because they reproduce very quickly.
