It is common for animals to lose their offspring. Most research has shown that cats do not have the ability to store memories like these. Cats have the ability to learn from repetition, but single incidents do not stay with a cat's memory. So, emotionally, your cat should have no problems from the death of it's kittens. However, this may have been caused by a medical problem and your cat could have a problem that will always cause its offspring to die. If you are concerned you maybe should contact your vet., but this does not sound like a problem. Your cat has probably long forgot about these kittens.
