to get into vet school you have to go through undergrad (get your bachelors of science, art, whatever) then you have to apply to vet schools. There are 27 vet schools in the US. So not every state has them. Also you need to have at least 300 hours working with animals and a veterinarian. One of the best ways to do this is to go volunteer at a vet's office. Many will allow you to do this and then you can learn if you really want to do this. Vet school is HARD you really need to think about this and if you really want to do it.
