Lightbulb turtles not mating?

I found this for you:

"Many aquatic turtles (sliders, cooters, maps, painteds, etc.), the male will put their front claws by the side of their head and wave (vibrate) it back and forth quickly. They often to this tio attract females, but also as a sign of dominance.

I don't know if you'd call it practice, but males will constantly try to mount females, whether either one is mature or not. Some can call it practice and some call it persistence. lol
