Oh - and about the cost... my ferrets were around $130 a piece.

Then you have to consider the cost of the cage, which can be quite expensive depending on what you get into - they need a decent sized cage, especially if they are going to spend a lot of time in there while you are at work.

They like to sleep in the little hammocks, which are around $15 to $20 as well.

Then mine would only eat the food that they were raised on - they wouldn't touch anything else - I think they would rather have starved themselves than touch anything other than the Marshall food, which ran about $25 in our pet stores for a bag...or a little carton for around $10.

All-in-all really, really good pets to have. Really entertaining.
