Has anyone ever successfully bred their fish or wanted to breed their fish?

We ended up bringing home a pregnant Molly, not knowing it, and had some baby mollies after a couple of weeks, but because we weren't prepared and didn't know and it was too late at night to get anything to seperate the fish, when we woke up they were all gone...the other fish ate them. I was actually pretty upset about it. That was the first and last time we had babies.
