Default Has anyone found a good use for the 'fines'...

...left from rabbit food, other than feeding a worm bed? Yes, the stuff that runs through the perforated feeders. I used to have to clean it out, but now use the strainer feeders so it is easier and cleaner to deal with.

By fines I take it you mean the tiny, gritty bits left over at the bottom of their food dish... If so, you could try maybe sprinkling them on a soup or salad or perhaps to soak up oil dripping in the driveway.

You could mix them in with the feed for other farm-type animals. I mixed them in with my horses grain. That is, as long as they're clean and not moldy (of course) Seems a shame to waste them, doesn't it?
