Default do bunny rabbits make good pets? are they

easy to care for? i live in apt-which allows small pets. i think fluffy bunnies emit very little noise. and they produce jelly bean size poopy-easy to clean

Oh you wouldnt believe what good pets bunnies make if you give them a chance. I got a pair of baby bunnies two years ago to see just how well I could train them, and now they are totally housetrained, toilet-trained and super-cuddly. They cruise around like little kittens through the house, soundless, vegetarian, and gentle. The trick is to spend a lot of time with them and give them a LOT of petting.

Yes, they do. I used to have one, and he was so sweet. I found out that bunny's with ears that go down are nicer than the ones that have ears that go up. They're very friendly, and easy to take care of.

Bunnies can make wonderful pets although they do require a large cage (even for the dwarfs) at least seven square feet per rabbit is ideal and larger is better, and its best to get them neutered or spayed, they can get rather aggressive if you dont once they reach sexual maturity and it greatly reduces the chances of cancer in the females which is extrememly high. You also have to remember that they can live to be 10+ years so it is a big commitiment. For their care they need their cage cleaned about twice a week, litter box scooped daily, pellets twice a day, access to Timothy hay constantly (this is a must, if they do not have constant access to this they can develop GI stasis as well as other problems, 1/4-1/2 cup fresh veggies daily and of course fresh water, please remember NEVER use cedar and pine not only on rabbits but all small animals, it causes horrible resperitory infections as well as liver damage. Almost all other beddings are safe including Carefresh and Aspen. Rabbits also need toys, cat balls with bells, large hanging parrot toys small wicker baskets or commercially made rabbit toys all work well as do slinkies and phone books. Rabbits do need at least an hour out every night and more is better and they do need to be supervised because they are chewers, they will chew through electrical cords which could potentially kill them, basebords, furniture, baskets or pretty much anything that is out. Also although most do like to be petted most do not like to be picked up or carried and are much happier coming up to you and sitting beside you or sometimes jumping on you.

They do make good pets, though I wouldn't keep them indoor. They sort of emit some smell from their urine and poops. But they are quiet animals and wont cause you any trouble.

They're fun-loving pets. I would recommend them to anyone who does not want to have to care for them 24/7. If you let them around the house (maybe an area where they can shed their feces), they should be fine.
