I have a black cat, too! Have had several during my life. My current one is Guinness (after the dark ale) LOL...

So far of the ones suggested, I think Midnight and Eclipse are really cool!

How about Coal? LOL...sort of a play on the real name of Cole!

What a great idea. Im sure the cat will do somthing funny. All cats are nice and funny. I would name my cat Oreo.. But thats a pretty common name.

When naming a pet, look at its personality, and the way it looks. I was 5 when I named my cat, so I wasn't the best judge on it. But, we did have a cat named Moochy, because it was such a stuck up mooch.
