i have a big black buck named Bubba Gump name fit's him well too cause he's a big goof. Midnight, Salem, Blackjack, Buck, Whats his personality like? Thats how I name mine and every name fit's them. Like sweetness, princess, bubba gump, Jerry, Hot rod, Chevy,and so on.

Personality mixed with color, also it would be neat to name him for something so obviosuly *not* blackMajestic? Ra. We've got 2 black cats ourselves that our kids named. But they were named more for their personality than their color-Ruby, because she carries herself like she's a jeweled princess.Shadow- because he tends to follow the other one around, like her shadow.Others that they considered: Midnight, Fritz, Princess, and some others.

I agree the name will depend on the personality of the cat. You need to really take a few days and watch the cat, you might find a name that goes well with the cat, that you really like.
