Like lizzy says. This kitten is just like a human baby. She needs to go for shots, on schedule, and she needs check ups to make sure she is is developing normally. She needs tests to make sure she doesn't have any diseases that could have come from her mother. She needs to be wormed and checked to see that the wormer worked. All kittens have worms. Most of them have more than one kind of worm. Make the appointment and be faithful about following up with the next visit the vet recommends, and you will have a healthy kitty who will live a long time.

Red face New Kitten

Yes, vaccinate that kitten & get it's rabies shot also. Make sure you get a good flea treatment product as well. All of this is very important to your kitten's health. Make sure you give it lots of love & attention also. Spoil it just like all my babies are spoiled. Hills Science Diet or Iams both are excellent foods for your kitten. They are a little more expensive but they are well worth the price in the health benefits they provide.

Of course. You want to make sure you get that done. Keep taking him back for check ups too.

A kitten is a baby. You wouldn't not take your baby for its shots would you?? I didn't think so. Definately do regular check ups with the vet, even down the road. That's the only way I've been able to have my cat for 17 years...
