I've had more than 20 barn cats at times, but usually only 1 or 2 I keep indoors.

But I live out in the country so cats are safe outdoors here. There's no traffic so they can't get run over.

Sorry, sad news to report, one of the kittens did not make it. Pebbles had to be put to sleep because she developed a severe infection in her lungs. Tiger Lily is doing great though. I filed for a grant from the state and will start receiving a small amount of assistance next year. It won't be much but at least it will pay for the cat litter and the toys I get for the cats and some of their shots. Thank you all for your kind words of support. It has been a little hard here lately as I just recently had a heart attack and heart surgery but I am doing okay. I really missed all my four footed babies while I was in the hospital though. Again, thank you all for the kind words and support. I will continue caring for my babies as long as God allows me to do so.
