Default Friendships & compassion

I feel a little disappointed in the fact that not one person responded to my post I made regarding the loss of my sweet little Tinker Belle. It was a rough time for me to lose her as I have also been going through a lot of serious health issuses of my own as well. I have just had my second heart attack in less than 6 months & major heart surgery so I really was depressed over Tinker's death on top of everything else & I thought that this would be the one place to receive some support from fellow animal lovers. My husband likes animals but he isn't really into them like I am. As I stated before I am an unofficial cat rescue house & take in cats other people abandon & I feed & care for them totally at my own expense. Sorry, I don't mean to complain but I was hopin g for more interaction from other members than what has been given.

Hi KitKatKay,

I'm very sorry for your loss. I know how terrible it is to lose a pet. Especially cats They are the cuddliest! I'm sorry that no one had responded to your message. Truth is, the forum area of the site isn't nearly as popular as the photo gallery yet, and sometimes it takes a while before people check messages here. Lindsey and I wanted to let you know that our prayers are with both you and Tinker Belle.

Red face

Thank you & Lindsey both Chris. I really do appreciate the response. I am now recovering from having surgery on my rotator cuff, right side, & not able to be on the computer as often as usual. My health issues have been a lot to deal with in addition to trying to keep up with my four footed children. I will not give them up though no matter how tough it gets for me to take care of them. They are so helpless & they depend on me to take of them & to love them. Thank you again & God bless.

It is very sad when you loose a pet. Especially one that has been a part of the family for any amount of time. I am sure that one day you will find another pet (not to replace) that can help you to remember the one you loved and lost.

I am compassionate when it comes to your loss and I am very sorry nobody answered, I have only recently joined the forum so if you would forgive me...
Also I can understand how bad you feal. When our two british shorthaires became ill we did our best to make them better and it hurt to see them suffer every day.
I understand you and again I am sorry.

I've had my cat for many years, and I can relate to your loss. I'm so sorry to hear about it. I know that pets provide a certain type of companionship that can't be duplicated by anyone or anything else. Again I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, and can truly understand.
