Is this cat an outdoor or indoor cat?

How long have they been appearing for? Has the cat gotten into a fight with another animal that you know of?

Have you taken him/her to the vet yet?

Chris

It sounds like it could possibly be be hot spots or flea bite dermititis. It also could be from fights from other cats. If it is from hot spots, which is a skin condition, there are several good products you can purchase to spray on him that will help. Check with your vet first to determine the exact cause.

Yeah, it definitely depends on if the cat is indoor or outdoor. If indoor, this could be a serious problem. If outdoor, it's most likely from other cats attacking your cat. Keep him/her inside for awhile...though if you're concerned, you should take the cat to the vet! Hope it doesn't turn out to be something serious!

I have to agree with the others. I would take the cat to a vet and also try to determine what could be going on with the cat if it is an outdoor cat.

It could be a number of things. If you cat is an outdoor cat it could be getting in a fight with another animal, or just hurt from the outdoors. If they continue to come up take it to the vet.

maybe its from a skin disease that just happened who knows?
or it could be just scars from a cat fight or another type of fight?if it keeps happening take your cat to a vet and they'll sort it out.
