Default Modifiying my cats diet

My cat has been on a dry cat food diet for about a year now I toss in a can of wet food every now and then. Wondering if I could introduce meats, and veggies into its diet. If so what should I introduce and how should I go about it.

That is a good question. I am not sure that I would give them people food, especially meat. They become accustom to it and then that is all they want, and they no longer eat the cat food.

It is best not to feed people food to your cat but to keep it on a low ash diet to avoid urinary tract infections. My cats have always been on Hills Science Diet or Iams which are both good foods. When changing your cat's food do it by mixing just a small amount of the new food in with the old food for awhile and then gradually increasing the amount of the new food so as to avoid making your cat ill. There are moist cat foods that do have vegtable cobtent in them. It would be best to use them instead of human food.
