My dog does this too. He tends to mark everthing he sees. Its hard to drop even a towel on the ground without him running to it. I know how you feel. Cant keep him inside because it will smell to bad.

I think that it might be normal for a lot of puppies. I know our lab Abby was like that as a pup. She would do it whenever she got over-excited too. She eventually grew out of it. Hopefully your puppy will too.

Is your puppy a male? It is normal for them to do that. I have a lot of dogs and puppies and I observed that it is really their nature.
