I have a border collie named Annie, and everytime I get the camera out she runs and hides.

But I have managed to get 2 pics that show something besides her rear end running away.

I can't find the one showing her in the yard (I'll look for it later), but here's one of her in the house:

How weird. Do you always use a flash? Maybe she has a problem with the flash and that is why when seeing the camera she runs away.

Yeah, it is really weird. Some dogs really love to pose and it is like they know that they are being pictured. but in your dog's case, I think he is afraid of the flash. Or he had a bad experience regarding cameras.

I'll bet it is the flash that is startling her too. Sometimes I wish my dog was shy around cameras. When she sees a camera come out she comes right over and tries to eat it

Maybe your camera just looks scary in her eyes, lol. My cat doesnt really think of anything about my camera
