Hi there I have a Giant African Land Snail which I call Lucy and it is really lovely. My friends at a craft group I go to at our local church did not believe me when I told them about Lucy (they thought it was a joke!).So the next time I went I popped the snail into it's smaller tank and took it in to show them! They loved touching the snail and were totally fascintaed with it. As I am almost 65 years old people don't expect me to have a pet like a GALS.

Hi dizzyoap,

I've never seen a giant african land snail. Can you upload a photo for us? Might not be "cute" but who cares!
