Does anyone here own a monkey? What type? How are they as pets? I've always wanted to have one - it would be like having a little child all of your life.

My friend had a monkey and they monkey attacked the maid in his house and would also go mad some times . I would not advise you to keep a monkey in house after what my friend had to say about it .

I think it depends on a lot of factors. But something that a lot of people do not realize is just because a pet store sells the animal it does not mean that they are legal in your area to keep as a pet.

True again before purchasing one make sure to check if it is legal or you need a license. But I'd love to have a monkey as a pet, maybe like the one from Friends. They are just so cute.
