Default My Koi Died!

I woke up today to notice that my Koi had died. I didn't find any problems with the tank. Check it all out and nothing seems to be wrong. I was told these fish live years and just get bigger. Can someone help me understand why he might of died?

What I know about them is that they live for 20 to 30 years and that some of them have lived for 200 years . I would say that some thing went wrong . You may have done some thing wrong anyway pray for its soul to be happy .

Default an idea

Though I'm not familiar with these fish, I did look it up online and came across this information:
"Corn-fed fish fatten and usually die prematurely. ... the problems associated with sludge"
