you could give ur pets to friends....but that would be mean to abandon them....find someone who will love them and take care of them...you should learn how to horsebackride first (if that indeed is your intention) then rent a horse...there is this girl in my class and she's a pro @ horsebackrinding and she still rents a horse...rent an old one first...

Read about horse.Get BIG pictures of them and hang em in your room.Be creative work for free at therapeautic horse place,and find out much to keep a horse on pasture if money is the problem.

I don't think the care you give your other pets could compare with taking care of an animal of that size. First of all you have to have a lot of money to burn: on a place to keep them, riding tack, feed, vet bills (which can and will come around and they are not cheap either), etc. Plus you have to clean up copious amounts of poo every day, make sure they get fed and watered twice daily, and are exercised on a regular basis. I don't doubt that you want a horse, I do too and have for a long time, but your parents may have issues about more than you actually caring for it, but money issues and danger issues- when you work around horses there is a risk of injury. You should try to get a job helping out at a stable to see if you can handle it and learn your way around a horse if you haven't already. Or you could see if there is a horse rescue near you to help out at too as a volunteer. And like someone said above you could try renting a horse first and see how that goes. This could help show your parents that you are willing and able to have a horse of your own, but like I said there is a lot for them to consider. Good luck!

Remember to take care of your current pets and with your extra money (not your parent's money) buy books and check books out of the library about taking care of horses and practice what the book says to do. And help your parents with stuff around the house and be as good as possible.

Takeing care of a horse is nothing like careing for household pets. Feed and health up take alone can be more than 200 a month or more. Can you supply this money? Or are your parents willing to pay it? Do you have the proper housing for a horse? You need to think about all these things before giveing up the pets you already have...In my opinion you should have never got the pets you have now if you were just going to throw them away for something new, that in the long run you wil probably get bored of. Im more than positive many other people will agree with what ive said..

takeing care of a horse is a lot of work you have to make sure they have a clean enviroment, proper diet, they're groomed and taken care of properly. The best way to let them know your committed to taking care of one is do a lot of research and present it to them that you've taken the time to look into all thats needed.
