I think your talking about a book??The first place to go is your local tack store. Look for horses for dummies, or "first horse" books. Then find a trainer, take a few lessons. The lesson should include horse care. Then you will also have someone to ask advice from when the books don't have the answers. A good book to read also is Buck Brannamans "Far Away Horses." This book will give you some practical psychology of the horse as well as entertain you with Buck's life story. It would also be a good idea to purchase "The Horse Owners Vet book," If you are to ever have an injury or a sickness this book is invaluble. That's my list of must have's anyway...

If you have satellite tv I suggest watching a channel called RFDTV. It has a bunch of great shows on caring for your horse. There are a lot of yahoo groups devoted to horse care too. That should tide you over until you can get down to the library to check out a few good books. If you don't have a library card try ordering some books off www.amazon.com

A vet doctor can be the best person to give you all the tips, how to take care of the horse. You can take assistance of books, but what ever you get to know from the books, consult your vet and only then go ahead with it.
