Carrots, apples, hay, and grass for starters. Also try horse feed.

Well, you'll first have to see many things about a horse before you feed it. Grain should be fed to young growing horses or hard working horses. You shouldn't overfeed or underfeed your horse or it will make them sick. Also, you should know how much your horse weighs. That should tell you how much you need to feed your horse by using common sense. Regular horses should have hay and carrots or vegetables

a high quality alfalfa. that is all that i feed mine(3 plus 2 miniture goats) and they couldn't look better. i get compliments on them all the time.i don't give them grain other than a handful once or twice a month. but they do get carrots or apples daily.

I am surprised or rather I would say shocked.Can we include meat in horse' diet?Well I never knew about this is it so.But anyway regular grains and routine hay, veggies will make healthy diet for a horse.
