That Hedgehog is so cute. Amazing that the dog didn't try to eat it Looks like it was relatively easy to feed it. I know some animals can't stand being fed with a syringe.

What happened to it that it needed help? Was it lost or hurt?

Default Milligan

The dog you see in the video disturbed the nest and though we covered it up, when we came back to see if it was secure the next morning the mother had moved all the babies, bar one, to another nest. This one was staggering about the driveway on his own so we brought him home. He's started putting on weight and has an excellent appetite. We're hoping he'll live in our vegetable garden and keep the pests down!

maybe that one was touched by the dog somehow and therefore the mother chose to leave it behind. Animals sometimes do things like that. I am glad that you were able to take care of it. very cute

I had a hedgehog hiding behind my plant pots. It was so sweet he just lived there happily and he was nice and tame.
Thx for the video it's nice.

I've never seen a hedgehog before, I suppose it's the price to pay for living in town^^
