Do you know what's great living in the middle of nowhere in the south of France? It's the wildlife. I'm about to present to you photos of a few lovely unexpected friends who live in the garden, in the caves and up the mountain.
A lot of people don't like bats or are scared of them but I think they are lovely. We have a Bat living down in the caves and he is beautiful, take a look!
Ok, now this is beautiful. For the past 4 years a Fox has been coming every evening to eat leftovers, he is magnificient!!!! In summer he looses his furr and in winter he becomes all nice and bushy, he is also very tame and eats out of our hands.
He even gets along with the cats!!
Here he is!
Something else that's realy nice over here are the noise of the cicadas rattling on all day...and the lovely concert of frogs we have down by the lake all night long.
Please share your experience, I would love to know your story!
Most bats are not dangerous they have just gotten a bad rep thanks to movies. They can be very beautiful and usually do not bother people unless bothered and still then not in the capacity that people think.
I would love to live in the mountain unfortenately I live in town and the only noise I hear is cars cars and cars^^ It seems nice to live among wildlife.
My parents live in Virginia and I used to love growing up there. You could hear all the frogs and bugs chirping at night. It was so peaceful. Plus there were tons of deer that grazed in the garden morning and evening.
Most of my life I have lived where there is lots of wildlife. Those are great pictures! I wish I could get pics of our local wildlife, but most of them only come out at nighttime, and the daytime critters don't get close enough for clear shots.
