Default Lizards

I have a lizard for a pet and it smells really bad. I clean the cage twice a week and the odor still is there. Any way I can reduce the odor to be almost non existant?

What kind of lizard do you have? What kind of cage is he/she living in exactly? What do you feed him/her and how often? Are you sure your lizard is healthy (otherwise you'd better go for a check up to a vet who's specialized in reptiles).

Would it be possible for you to clean the cage more frequently? That is the only thing I can think of to improve the situation. Of course there are air sanitizers you might try to use to rid your home of odors, but this will not eliminate the root cause.

Well Lisss has brought up some very good points that should be taken into consideration. You should ask yourself about the things mentioned and see if there is something you can do in that area. Otherwise just more frequent cleaning would have to be the best bet.

hi i think that the lizard is either unhealthy or it eats a lot of insects.Just cleaning the cage may not be enough,it should eat some good things.

I think that reptiles are very repulsive especially lizards because they eat very dirty stuff and some of them are very poisonous and dangerous such as the dragons.
